L00KING FOR VARRSTOEN POLISHED 18" or 19"

If anyone knows of Varrstoen wheels FS please inform me. I've been searching for over a month. Either Matte Black or Polished goes best with an AM TL. Agreed?
I'm thinking 18x9.5+22 all around or 19x9.5+22 with fendor work

You can always check the Black Market here. I got mine from sonicmotor.com. Give them a look and see if they have what you want.

Yeah I found them on sonicmotor.com, but only the wheels for about $1,400. Where did you purchase your tires?

The tires I want are pretty hard to find in stock right now, but one site had the 225/40/18's I was looking for. It's called tires-easy.com. Onlinetires.com also has tires VERY cheap. Your best bet to getting tires the cheapest is to go on onlinetires.com and get the price. Then order from discounttiredirect.com as they price match AND they have free shipping.

No shit huh, Thanks for the suggestions. I'm not sure what tires would be best for 18" Varrstoens tho. Obv Michelin and Bridgestone are top of the line, but I heard brands like Continental or Falken are good also. Any advice there?

Since you want a +22 offset with a 9.5" width you will need to have some stretch to your tires. From what I've heard Michelin tires are not good for that, not sure about Bridgestones. I would stick with either Falken or Conti's. A lot of guys have either of those tires with a stretched setup and have no issues.

Look at Sharksbreath's car, I believe he has the Falken 452's and Rockstar143 has the Conti's. Both have stretched setups and love their tires.

Yeah I have heard about stretching. My main goal is to make it all look flush, and the majority of those who do have the specs of around 18x9.5x+22 or 19x9.5+22. This means all of those stretched their tires in order to sit flush, huh

Pretty much. BUT you don't have to go overboard with it. A 225/40/18 tire on a 9.5" rim will be a mild stretch, nothing excessive. Same with a 225/35/19 tire on a 9.5" rim.

The bigger the rim you put on the less sidewall there is to stretch. Check this website out and take a look for yourself at the stretch of each setup. You'll be looking at 225/40/18 and 225/35/19. http://www.tyrestretch.com/

Some stretches will look a bit different because like I said before it all depends on what tire brand you use. Some stretch better than others do.

I'm leaning more towards 18" because with 19", tires wear much quicker, as there is less tread (obv). And is it simply recommended to stretch tires or mandatory for them to sit right? I apologize for the lack of knowledge of this subject lol. Would a local tire shop be able to stretch em if needed? And one more question, would you think a camber kit is necessary or not? I would assume so..

It's not that there is less tread on an 19 compared to an 18, it's the overall height of the sidewall that is different. The tread wearing down has to do with the rating. The lower the tread rating the faster it will wear down.

Tire stretching is just recommended, it's not mandatory. But to run a 9.5" rim with a +22 offset, if you don't want to rub, it's highly recommended. With aggressive setups people like to give themselves every advantage to not rub. Like stretching tires or rolling/pulling fenders. You don't have to go overboard with the stretch and if you go with an 18" rim, a 225/40 tire stretched on a 9.5" rim really isn't bad at all.

Any tire shop you should able to put tires on that are minimally stretched. I don't know if I would just trust any place though, if you were going for a lot of stretch.

Depending on how low you want to go a camber kit may be necessary. More so in the rear than in the front. The rule of thumb is any drop 2" or over you should get a camber kit. Unless you are just that anal about the numbers and want everything to be exactly the same all around.
