Question Konig wheels...

Hey guys, I just purchased an Integra last week and I'm trying to decide on some wheels. I like the look of the Konig Rated R's (without the stupid "Rated R" sticker on it!!), but I'm not so confident about the quality of the wheel. The guy at the shop I talked to said he recommended them over Racing Hart, which was the other brand I was considering. Do any of you guys have or know anyone who has had Konigs, and if so, any problems? Are they worth the money, or should I go for something else? My ideal choice would be the Volk TE-37's, but I don't know if I want to spend the money on this car. Thanks for the help.

Anybody ever heard of Velox Wheels? I like the VX-6's, but I've never heard anybody talk about them.

velox is made by a local socal car shop called robocar (they have since gone wholesale/distributing and they also make gauges and what nots). the designs look ok and i'm sure you can get a good price, but it's probably a wheel made in hong kong or taiwan...quality might be lacking.

what rh wheel were you considering? personally, i would choose rh over konig any day.

I am considering the D6000's. All my plans ended up changing...I was originally going to buy an Accord V6 and throw on the C2's, but I ended up finding this Integra with way lower miles than I could've gotten on an Accord, and plus with all the driving I do, it's saves me lots of $$$ on gas. I just don't really want C2's on the Integra though. I LOVE the wheels on other cars, but I'm really not too crazy about them on the Integras. I would really love to get the Volk TE-37's, but I just don't really want to spend that much money. Anyone got any suggestions?

Have you look into Team Dynamics wheels? I didn't like most of them for my TL... but (in my opinion) they have a lot that'll look good on an integra...

Konig Wheels

I had a set of Konig GT-R rims on my 1997 Civic LX. The GT-R rim is a 5 spoke version of the Rated-R. The 6 spoke Rated-R replaced the GT-R. I personally did not like the stupid GT-R sticker either, but I bought the rims used and they were already on there. I think the stickers come in the boxes when you buy the wheels and it is up to you if you want to put them on. DON'T!! The wheels were 16x7 and I used 205/50/16 with stock suspension. These were really strong wheels and I never had one bent on me. Unlike my Neighbor who had TSW blades, every one of his rims was bent. Have fun.

Thanks for the info Teeque!! That's just what I've been wanting to hear...something from somebody who owned a set. I think I've just about decided to get the Rated R's probably in 17", but 18" still isn't out of the question. My buddy Ken2000ac knows about bending some TSW's, don't you Ken?!!!

I'll also check out Team Dynamics...haven't looked at those wheels yet. Thanks for the suggestions!

Yeah, look into Team Dynamics, cause they have those multi-spoke wheels that I think are great on smaller "racer" type cars. And the center piece can be ordered to be different color... which I think it's cool...

NOOOOOO!!! My car has been called a "Racer"!!!
I'm kidding, I know it's a "racer" type of car, but I'm doing everything I can to prevent it from looking like the typical "racer". I like CLEAN cars...no big wings, no different colors, no crazy body kits, no stickers, and last of all, NO ALTEZZAS!!!

Oh, sorry.... but I think those "Multi-spoke" wheels might still look good... I didn't mean it like that... ya know? With big whale tails and all... I think that's the trend right now... even cars like Jaguar S-types have 10 spoke wheels...

Yes, TSW's bend.

South Raleigh potholes aren't too kind, though. Perhaps TSW was just a bum buy. Oh well.

Oh yeah....saw MY Kuji's today. Have to tell you about it later bro.

is300eater, I'm just kidding!!! I do like those style of wheels though, but I'm probably going to go with a 5 or 6 spoke wheel.

Ken, yeah, those potholes aren't too kind are they?!! Neither is that "East Raleigh" snow (when we get it!!). Sad, just sad...
