Koni Yellow/Stock Springs vs Tein Street Basis

What is the feedback on these setups as these are my options for my 2005 TL. Concerns are confort first, then lowering slightly. The reason for the Tein consideration is that it is in the same range as the Koni yellow, and I can get a bit more low if I need to once my wheels are changed if I decide to. Is one setup superior to the other in the region of comfort? Any experiences would help.

I have Koni yellow Shocks and Tein Springs. The drop is nice and the ride is very comfortable still. Not to stiff and not to bouncy with where I have dampered at. I have 18' rims and 235 tires and still don't rub. Can't speak on any other setups but I definitly like this one.

If your top priority is comfort then go koni. For look or appearance then go Tein Basic. Best of two world then Tein Advance.

I'm still debating.... but Im just now worried that on stock springs on koni's i might still have more wheel gap than I want...

I recommend that you save some money and buy the tein advance not only you will be happy with the height you desire and the comfort you really want.

Depends on what you want in a suspension. Do you want to adjust ride height, damping, etc?

Feel free to contact us to discuss the benefits of each setup.

I like the ride I had with my koni's and H&R race springs on my 05 then the feel of my coils I have now on my Type S.
The ride was no where as stiff as I thought it would be.
It was perfect.
I might change back to that setup.
