Koni Yellow Install.........

I run the Koni Reds on my other car and they're adjusted by compressing the shock all the way and turning. Are you sure the typical Koni Yellows used on the TLs have adjustable compression by compressing all the way and turning plus rebound by turning at the knob?
I've never heard of having both compression and rebound adjustable and where I'm at right now, more compression would be very nice. I hope you're right.

Feel free to call KONI to verify.

With that said, I emailed Koni and here is the info I received..
Me: "I'm looking at the Koni Yellows for an '08 Acura TL Type-S. Some people have said that the rebound is adjustable on these, is this true? I was under the impression that only the compression was adjustable. Thanks for the clarification."
Koni: "The KONI sport yellow dampers are Rebound adjustable only. No adjustments are made to the compression of the shocks."
So who knows....

True... the Koni Yellows are rebound adj only and always have been unless they are listed as dbl adj, which some of the yellows are, depending on application.

After searching a little, it appears that some adjust both compression and rebound with the knob on top. They are just not individually adjustable.

Not to sound like a dick, but as a vendor shouldn't you assume responsibility for the accuracy of your posts on here? If it is up in the air about whether or not a product has certain feature, wouldn't you like to know what you are selling to make sure you aren't misleading people?
Not be a forum moderator, but you should probably sit back and calm down a bit too. I see misinformation in every thread in practically half the posts on this forum. I don't quote them and say they should assume responsibility. It would have sufficed for you simply to post up the correct answer without attacking our credibility.

Firstly, I didn't advertise it as a double adjustable shock so there's nothing to mislead people with. I didn't say buy KONI shocks because they have compression and rebound adjustment for the 3G TL. We have adjusted KONI Yellows here before and they have had both. So I was just simply trying to provide information, just like any forum member. Apparently the one we adjusted wasn't for the 3G TL. I thought it was.

The fact is you're not just another forum member, you are a vendor...and you did say the Koni Yellows are adjustable in both compression and rebound. As a vendor and a business, I'm pretty sure you are liable for any claim you make (maybe I'm wrong...but this seems logical).
Obviously I didn't know what I was talking about either as I thought compression was the common adjustable parameter of similar shocks. I just want people to get the correct information. When I buy things I like to research the hell out of them so I know exactly what I'm getting.
Again, I hope I'm not being a jerk here. I just like to think someone with your stature, and reputation as a good vendor, provides facts that potential buyers can rely on.

I took one of the koni shocks off my car today to test this out and the rebound was not adjustable. Only adjustment was the top knob. Just wanted to post this to help clear up some of the confusion. I'm thinking that particular instruction sheet was somewhat generic because koni most likely has many different types of shocks.
