doesnt matter what size rims you have, its all about tire size.

^^^^that doesn't make any sense.
an 18 inch and a 20 inch rim have 2 inch difference in diameter. wouldn't that mean the 20" rim has less finger gap which increasing the chances of it rubbing

either way a 20" rim with 225/35 or 225/30 is bigger in diamter than your 19" on 235/35. so rim size does matter

you answered you own question. bigger wheels need a lower series tire. if you do it RIGHT your wheel diamter should not change. it will change driving dynamics.
