Koni Sport Shocks w/ H&R Sport Springs perch level?
I'm having my Koni Sport Shocks and H&R springs installed soon and am wondering what perch level (konis) will give me what drop. The front shocks have 2 perch levels and the rear have 3.
I've searched around and found that the koni sports (opposed to SP3s) will drop the car 20mm if put on the lowest level. Is that 20mm in addition to the spring's 1.4" drop? Or is it the combination of perch level and the springs that will give it the 1.4" drop.
Are there any disadvantages to putting the perch levels lower, other than bottoming out? (I feel like the spring will be wound tighter at higher perch levels)

I would search for (MMade22). He has exactly what you have (Koni Sport), I just don't recall his perch levels. I do know that he also has a 6MT, not sure yours. I have the SP3's and the H&R sports, with the Koni's on the 2nd to lowest perch level all around. And yes, the perch level that you lower to will add to your (1.4F-1.3R) drop. If you leave the Koni's set to what they came out of the box (Middle perch) you will get the drop rated for the springs. If I recall correctly it is ~.25" per perch on the Koni's.

Thanks for the info. After talking to some people I'm going to leave the perch levels alone for now. I'm not looking to slam my car and have a huge speedbump at the entrance to my neighborhood. The drop given from the springs should be enough for me
I did like those links. Might consider dropping the front shocks a perch level.

I think you should ask trancemission. He has the exact setup that you are asking. I know the middle perch yields the drop that the spring does, so I think H&R Sport drops you 1.4 in the front and 1.3in. in the rear.
