Kazera KZ-H. Opinions?

These are Kazera KZ-H 18x8 w/ a 40 offset sold at tirerack. These wheels weigh 21 and some change lbs. Along with some Continental ContiExtremeContact tires which weigh 21 lbs for 235/40-18 this wheel combo should net ~ 42lbs. Won't that be lighter than the stock wheel combo?

I think these wheels look pretty cool. They even have a polished lip and cost $154 a rim. My car is black just like in the picture. What do you think?

That's fine if you don't like them, but please say why. It'll be helpful.

I was actually considering this set as well cause of the price, but soemthing about it just doesn't do it for me neither.... i don't know what it is... i was also considering the ASA AR9 from tirerack.

The spokes are too thin. But if you like them and have a 6spd, you can show off your brembos. The price is pretty good though...

I do have the 6 speed and I liked them for that very reason, so I can see the calipers.

It says it is a cast and shot-peened wheel.

Would the 42 lbs. be good? Lighter than stock?

According to tirerack that won't fit my car. I tried looking up wheels for an automatic and there were hundreds more listed. Oh well.

The other ones I liked were the elbrus I04 at tirerack. But they are pretty heavy. 25 lbs.

I also like these 5zigen FN01R-C.

The face is polished and the little lip just inside the spokes is black so the wheel looks bigger than it really is. I like the 18x8.5. The wheel and tire weight would be 42-43lbs.

I was considering the Kazera's as well. They are relatively light for the cost and I like the machine finish of the spokes and lip. But something about them just doesn't do it for me. Hard to put my finger on it, maybe the spokes are too thin like someone else said. I would like to see a pic of an actual TL with them though.

In the end, I decided I want to go with 19's so that eliminates the Kazera. I am having a heck of a time though finding something I like, that is affordable, and will clear the Brembos.

I am kinda liking these Moda MD1's in 19x8.5 (on close out at Tirerack for $169 each) but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I stole this pic from another forum as it's the best pic I have seen of these wheels on an actual car. They are silver with a polished lip. How do you guys think this would look on a Carbon Bronze Pearl Type S?

Sorry for hijacking.

They're ok. They look better in the wheel pic versus the car pic; probably look good in person. Tirerack's wheel/car generator isn't the greatest as capturing how a wheel will really look.

Stock wheels and tires weigh 45-46lbs, so you'll loose a few per corner with those.
