Joining the concave bandwagon

Ordered these....give me ur opinions (although it doesn't really matter, since they are already ordered)

the ones in the pic are 20s, but I ordered 19s. I searched and haven't seen anyone with a 3g TL with these. So I hope I'm taking a good gamble. I'm not really good at picturing what rims will look like on cars.

Pretty aggresseive fitment imo, will drop my car more if I have to.

Axis power 19x9.5 +40 on all 4 corners. 235/35's for the moment, since I already have them, ill see how they work out/fit.

Looks good, not really that aggressive size, you could run wider tires if you would like, or even put 15mm spacers all around

coming from 19x8 +45, they are a tad more aggressive lol. I wanted them a little conservative anyways bc Im not sure if they will clear a Rotora BBK. Sure, I coulda measured, but thats a PITA, and wheres the fun in that?

These are the ones they would usually run on the rears of a rwd, and 8.5s up front, so Im expecting a decent amount of concavity (sp?)

Im new to the aggressive fitment thing, and would rather error on the conservitive side, and be able to space it out if needed. Ive done research, but have never actually fitted anything on my own car. Plus IT IS my DD, so I didnt wanna hear to much bitching from the wife about it not being practical yada yada.

But Im glad you guys think it will fit good, with room to spare, if needed. They should be here early next week.

BTW, I got them for a killer deal, and the d00d has a couple different sets for sale. They are going for stupid cheap..heres the link, if anybody is interested.

9.5 +40 won't be that concave I don't think. Maybe. But those wheels on the isf don't look that great, the spokes come out way too much then they curve back in, it just doesn't look good.

+1! Not going to be fun when its time to wash them! If you wanted concave, you should of considered the XXR 527, the WEDSSPORT 67R and many more. Still, it's your car, if you like them, that should be enough! There should be change of impressions once you put the pictures up!!

Im hoping they are about as concave as the rears of the xxr 527s' deathmetal got...IDK we'll see. I didnt want the xxr 527s(want 19's), and the weds, advan, rays, etc wasnt in the budget right now.

Way too many spokes, which come out past the outer rim and go back in.

Man, rough crowd. I think they'll look good. I wanted ballin on a budget 19s and felt like, these were a good option. No offense meant toward deathmetal and tl dude, but I think they'll look as good, if not better than the xxrs. You guys were kinda my inspiration/motivation for cheap concove(ish) wheels.

But they'll be here tonite and I should be able to get sum pics up.

Axis Power wheels. Not going to be all to concave unless you're running the 19x9.75 et30, I think that's the standard offset for that width. I had considered these at one point in time.

DeathMetal.....these wheels only came in 19x8.5, 19x9.5, 20x8.5, 20x10. In our 114.3mm bolt pattern, the only available offsets are +35 for the 8.5s, and +40 for the 19x9.5s. The lower offsets are only available in the 5x120mm bolt pattern.

anyhoo....I like em! The gunmetal color is a little darker than I had hoped, but still ok with me. Now I need MOAR LOWWW! I have the 235/35s nexens on there now, the 235 tires look a little small with my mild drop. I still have my 245/35 invos on my rdx aspecs. I plan to swap the invos onto these wheels. I'llhave plenty of clearence.

Im no photog, and these were taken from my droid, but here are the pix

RDX aspec with invos:

So I got the 245/35 invos on here, and added 5mm spacers on the rear...much better...but SOMETHING was still missing...so I had a lot of g2 caliper paint left over, bc I only did the rears....so I did this...:-)

Wheels look OK on your car.

But they look like they'll be a PITA to clean.
