Any specific reason why you chose those rather than say a Tein Street Basis setup or Koni Yellow w/ stock springs setup?

I'm shopping for a new setup and not too far from pulling the trigger.

Good luck with install!

I chose the aspec over anything else because it was less expensive and exactly what I needed firmness wise.

When I was installing my Aspec suspension I found it difficult to work the strut assembly into place. I'm not sure if it was because I had my TL lowered on Megan coilovers prior, but it helped to take the FSB link and RSB link off when I was putting in the new Aspec struts on the front and rear respectively. Also, another set of hands would be very helpful, but I'm sure it can be done by one person.

For me, I chose the Aspec because I was tired of watching for dips, pot holes, and other obstacles on the road. This is my third suspension on my TL, other than stock.

1) Tokico HTS Dampers with H&R sport springs, and base top hats. This is a great setup if you're looking for something similar to Aspec suspension, but a little lower and ability to adjust damper settings. Might try this again, but with Aspec top hats, when the Aspec struts go bad.

2) Megan Coilovers. Rides nice and you can slam the TL! Has damper adjust too, but I got tired of it because of reasons stated earlier. Sure I could have lifted the suspension and adjust damper settings again, but thought they would be better off with someone that could and would really use them. So, I sold the coilovers to another azine member.

3) Aspec suspension. Has everything that I was looking for, but another .25" lower would be nice. Ride is firm enough for me, and still takes corners well when I want to have some fun. Also, I like the fact that it was engineered by same guy that worked on the NSX. Which goes to my final reason why I went with Aspec, it's made by Acura for the TL.

^This. ASPEC is a great upgrade that adds more sport-feel to daily driving. It's firmer than stock but certainly not harsh. Plus it's engineered specifically for the TL.

I feel dumb for asking, but what does the aspec suspension look like? Or, how do you tell the difference between stock and aspec?

Thanks for the reply. You're making my choice tougher!

You wont be able to see the difference in drop with the aspec suspension.

Don't mean to thread jack, but if I buy the OEM assembly front shocks is it basically unbolting the old shocks then rebolting on the new shocks? I wouldn't have to mess with the springs at all correct?

Depends on what you purchase. If you elect just the shock, then the spring will need to be changed over, but if you purchase the shock assembly it will be an easy replacement as it comes as an assembled unit.
