Initial Thoughts On Falken Ziex ZE512s

Ok, just got my new Falkens and they are nice, but has anyone noticed flatspotting with them?

When I first begin driving there seems to be a very rough ride, much worse than with the OEMs. I'm pretty sure they are flatspotting. I've noticed this a couple times. But the last time was much worse. However the car was parked about a week while I was away. Any thoughts on what might be the story? Do you think this will go away.

Good news, after about 10 minutes the ride is 100% amazing compared to the OEMs.

- Handling is great.
- Ride is smooth.
- Although they are a bit louder then the OEMs.

Appreciate any feedback.

Haven't noticed any flatspotting yet. Ride and noise level seem about the same. Cornering is superior!
My primary concern is SAFETY --> these tires don't hydroplane on wet roads like the original Bullshitstones.

This is the first I've heard of anyone reporting that the Falkens were noisier than the BS OEMs.

Yeah, If things don't settle a bit I'm going to check on the balancing. Make sure they are zero'd.

Exclamation

2004TL believer,

I think you're not the first one saying "flatspot" to me with this Falken 512... Someone buying Falken months earlier said "flatspot", too. But it seemed to only happen once to his 04TL so far. He should come here to post very soon...

I'm not sure whether nylon is part of it or not.
