Increase offset - machine inners??

After talking to SinnedTL, I was wondering if anyone has done this yet to their wheels?

For example, +42 to a +45 for wheels you really liked..

I'd be worried about structural integrity. But if done correctly it could be OK.

milling the hub can be a problem when you mill too much and ruin the lugnut seat...otherwise, 1 or 2mm should be okay. make sure it's done correctly so it's flat.
