^^^Either one would look good. If you're open to Legends beyond the GT's, the liquid graphite looks good, and the liquid silver will match your paint.

The Legend GT's only come in Black with redline in 18", too keep the sporty nature, one inch diameter would hardly be noticeable with them being black like the tire.

The Legend in Liquid Silver 19" would looks sweet and uniform on the Silver TL, a classy look.

The Legend in liquid Graphite 19" would have a slightly edgier look, a little like the type S wheels, but not nearly as dark. This color is the trickiest becasue different lighting and angles yield more dramatically different looks.

The double adjustable models (not available for the TL) are a lot more expensive. They allow compression and rebound to be individually adjusted. I had those on my 1LE Camaro (factory equipment).

You know I've been reading this thread the past 2 or 3 days and no doubt you have some opinions and/or knowledge to share.

But, IMHO, start your own F'n thread. The OP asked "How will these RJ's Look on my TL?". He did not ask the price of some shock you like, the pro's and con's of proper offset or the design and engineering philosophy of the TL's suspension.

well, the cool thing about the Liquid Silver is that it is a different looking paint, more like a faux metal, or semi polished style paint. It flip flops a bit and looks liek mercury.
Here's how it looks on my car, notice how it picks up light and colors from it's surroundings without being reflective. I also think the lighter color give it a more classical look and a slightly larger look since there is more contrast between the tire and wheel color:

and just for kicks, here's the new Liquid graphite Inspyre:

^^

I agree. IMO, the stock TL-S wheels (color wise) look best on Silver or Anthacite cars.

I think the RJ designs look great. Really like the Inspyre shown above (Liquid Graphite).

48 offset?

these rims do look great, but I was interested in buying a set in the 48 offset, do you guys think this will work on our TLs? the site doesn't list the TL under its fitments column

what do you guys think? SSM 6-speed with soon to be black housings and black badges...i think these would look great on the car...they come in 18x8 32 offset...it should give my car an aggressive look while still having some rubber

Look at the pics RON posted above. Did you notice the SILVER TL?

Then again - to each his own.

BTW - Ron what is the color of the wheels on the Black TL?
These were exactly my sentiments too... I LOVE the Volks Time Attack look (and therefore, LOVE the black Legends), but happen to think they only really look good on white and royal blue Hondas/Acuras... *maybe* some black whips too depending on the other trim on the vehicle (i.e. w/o chrome trim = nice). I've seen a few silver rides with Time Attacks, and they just look a little awkward IMO.

If you're crushin' on the Legends, I'd go with the Graphite shade... or if you're not, I'd go with something that doesn't have a colored pinstripe around the rim. I saw this thread and laughed... I'm pondering trading in my '05 TSX 6MT (black on black) for a '07/'08 TL-S. I actually was considering only WDP or KBP because I wanted to get these black Legends LOL

Ron --- I may have asked awhile back... any way to get a generic (e.g. all black or black w/ the red pinstripe) center cap sans the RJ logo? No disrespect, but I prefer any mods to be "brand-free". I fabricated the center caps on my wheels w/ 'A' emblems because of this...

I would think the +48's would fit since it's only three more than stock. Three mm is nothing.

But these aren't out yet...how are you getting a deal?

whoops sorry guys, forgot to say that they were just the graphite ones (i think). And I'm probably going to get them off the black market here on acurazine, practically new with toyo tires on them. Thanks for the advice guys, one last question though...nothing bad can come with tucking them in 3mm more than stock right?

acurazine was in the same section as ron jon..i got a pic with these next to the car..what you think? In person i think it looks awesome and so did everyone else there...im going for a different look..not the typical..volk, axis, etc....they are great wheels but there is a company that is exclusive just to acuras..you can be at a show and officially say that the wheels on your car is the only ones at the show...while the volks, you might see up to 5 cars with the same wheel..infiniti, nissan, VW etc..this was proven to me last weekend at nopi where there were 7500 cars there...

Are those 18's or 19's? They look like 19's, but I thought they were only available in 18's?

My fave Legends are the GTs, but I still stand by my opinion that they don't look as good on a silver car. In your case, I'd go with the graphites...

I hear ya, those GT's on silver look so racy, the 18" gives you a meaty looking tire and with a good drop, its a very aggressive look.

RJ Legend II

Ron, do you have an estimated date of release yet? Also, how about the lip kit for the 07 TLS? Won't hold you to it.

concerned

I just ordered some 18" Liquid Graphite Legend RJ's for a Morrocan Red 07 TL-S
Tires are going to be the Yokohama 235/40/18 after reading the threads by the mathmetician I was starting to get somewhat concerned ....I have had some bad experience with Einke rims on a 04 TL that I just traded with speads over 90+
the factory wheels and tires are great @ 100+ on the new TL-S
could someone please comment on this before I dump all this money . wheels are not in stock so I am still waiting for delievery .

Thanks

Ron ....your unbiased input would be appreciatted
