I want to know OFFSET

I've been reading a lot about wheels and stuff but nobody has explained or given offset configuration for 18" rims. I'm thinking about putting these wheels on my BLue TL-S '07. These are BRW Blitz new wheels. Do you think that 18x8 is good or perhaps I can go 18X9?

18X8 +30 / +35 / +45 CCD 42.5mm

18X9 +18 / +28 CCD 72mm
18X9 +35 / +42 CCD 55mm

I don't know what CCD means. I would appreciate every help.

Also please suggest tire sizes.

Thanks
PS. If any body knows the offset of the 2007 TL-S OEM 17" wheels please reply.

Offset has nothing to do with rim diameter e.g. an 8" rim with a 45 offset would be the same for a 16, 17 , 18, 19, 20 inch wheel.

Use the following to determine the position of the wheel with various offsets.
Factory is 8" with a 45 offset-Insert this in Current Wheel Specs, and then you can play around with the New wheel Specs:

Thanks for the reply. I know that the offset has nothing to do with the diameter, I just wanted to know the offset so the wheels fit with the Brembo's.

Choosing an offset is really related to the width of the rim. As far as clearing your brembos, that really has to do with the spoke design. One style of 18x9 +35 might clear, while another style of 18x9 +35 wont.

YES call manufacturer. Also call a couple diff shops that sell that wheel, hoping you get the same answer. Nice wheel! Not too flashy. They look like 1 piece forged (lightweight)
