I have a 97 3.2TL(silver) and I am looking to get some rims. I have already been screwed once because i didn't know anything about offset. i got some 17 inch rims and they rubbed very bad. i had to sell them and lost money and then foun out later i had to get the right offset. so i have had rough time with this stuff. i am going to look at rims tomorrow and i know what i want and i hope they will fit. i want the alba 907 blaze(18 inch) chrome rims. they have them in a 42mm offset and i was wondering if that would be ok. someone please help me!

 

42 is about as low as you can go and still be OK for a TL.
