I hope I'm not screwed

I have a set of 18" Dazz Matiz mounted on my car and about a month ago my front right wheel hit a very nasty pothole that torn my tire and bent the wheel severely. So, I replaced the wheel with the 16" OEM and because of final exams and projects I kinda neglected it and i've been driving with this condition for hundred of miles only to realize just now that I'm only supposed to drive it for not more than 100 miles ? My maintance light has been blinking (for about 10 secs) every time I start my car, do you guys think there has been a problem with my car ? Geez, I hope it's not too late.

I don't think the maintenance light is related to your spare 16" wheel that you put on. The worst thing that can happen could be that your alignment might be off.

Sometimes the maintance light is just a reminder that you need an oil change or tune up...

Sounds like time for an oil change.

How many miles are on your car? Check the manual; probably time for scheduled maintanence. (we hope, anyway)

If I were you, I would mount the spare in the rear. I wouldn't want my drive wheels to have a different setup on both sides because depending on how different the size is, one side will be rolling more then the other and this will have the differential always compensating for this as your driving....straight.

God!!! I don't know what I'd do if I damaged one of my wheels... Honestly... I'd just get a new set, but a cheaper set, cause I got lucky with mine, and bought them used... and if I had to order ONE wheel from Japan, who knows how long it'd take.

About the maintanence light you can look it up in your owner 's manual. It tells how far you are from your next oilchange etc. by the amount of times the maintenance light blinks... I think if the light chills for longer than 5 sec. after u turn on your car it desperately needs maintenance. Look it up.... it takes 2 seconds:p

Well anyways I went back to stock for now, I'm just concerned that my axle will break due to the unequal size & weight. And you guys are right (Edit: about the maintance light)

and unlike you I don't feel like letting 3 rims that I still love sit still and do nothing in my garage, and really what can I do with it then ? resell it and buy a new set? who would buy a set of 3 rims ?
