I am getting pissed!!
I bought my 3g Feb. 08. I installed my 19" volks with brand new 245/35/19 Falken's. About 9 months later and 15,000 miles I had to replace my tires on the front. So I moved the back ones to the front. And put new ones on the back. Today I noticed that my backs are almost bald again. Almost as bad as the fronts but the fronts still haven't been replaced. I have a camber kit and the wear is even all the way across.
Before people start telling me that's the way low-pro's work or that the car is too low. I have had 5-6 cars all lowered even more then this with big wheels and have never experienced such short life.

ok so let me get this straight... rear is wearing prematurely
ok dumb question but by any chance did you get an alignment
and if so... scan in the sheet, lets see where the problem is
my guess... the toe is off or you are just far too slammed
you have a camber kit thats all good but really require the alignment sheet to see where the problem is

I am running H&R Sports on koni yellows on the middle perch in the back and lower perch in the front. I'll see if I can find the alignment sheet. If it was toe, wouldn't the wear be uneven??

Nah, toe would make the tires wear just as your saying. Camber will make them wear on the outside or inside. Stock, when loaded down real heavy, the rear tires will get destroyed because the toe gets thrown out of whack. Happened to me...

toe will indeed cause severe wear at a specific angle often the inner edge, while camber wears a different angle on the tread and is distinct
Its not about how low you are or how big the rims are- whats the treadwear rating on the tires???? 240-300-400-440
Probably in the 240-300 range if good sticky tires
Thats going to get about 20k miles on a fwd car- the weight distribution is very nose heavy
With camber kit you should be able to set that back to perfect spec- thats why you installed them
Toe can be adjusted regardless of height

when was your last alignment and have u hit anything hard by any chance, such as a pothole, that has knocked your alignment out of spec? and what did u tell the guys to set your alignment to? Did u Have a specific setting that u told them to do or did u tell them to go back to stock specs? and how low is your drop? tuck tire?/how many finger gaps if not tucking?

not sure if this applies to you, but the 04 and 05 TL had a TSB where new bump stops needed to be installed to combat excessive wear...

Kory, bring your TL up to the Firestone on Monroe Rd near Sardis. I had mine aligned there with no problems. They've got the Hunter Hawkeye machine and it's recessed in the ground so there is no issues with lowered cars getting on the ramp.
Robert Martin is the manager there, and he has a TL as well.

I've got about 10K on my setup now and they are wearing really well. Toe has been way off both times I've checked it on the Hunter laser rack at Honda after suspension adjustments. Brought it back into the tolerance range both times and no problems with wear.
I also rotate the crap out of the tires on a regular basis and played with the air pressures a bunch until I got it right.

Kory, go where Eric suggested. Get the lifetime alignment as I see you aren't getting rid of the car any time soon. I got my alignment done from there and the car has never been better. The tires are wearing so even, it's scary.
TrevorT- check the meet thread. We are having it outside your place. See if you can meet up.
