HT spec coilovers question

I am going to raise my car up about half to 3/4" this weekend and had a question. I heard you can raise it up by just spinning the top perches instead of removing the forks and all that crap. Will this make the ride more or less stiff? The terminology on htspecs website confuses me. Also which way would i spin them to the right or left? anybody have experience doing this ?

Maybe this will help? I don't have experience with coilovers, but here is a good writeup!

spin the top rings to the left. you have the spanner wrench right?

just make sure you measure the threads afterwards so that they're all level.

it won't change the ride quality, but you may want to get an alignment bc you're messing with your suspension, just to be on the safe side.

Just loosen the bottom perch and spin the entire shaft/spindle to desired height because if u spin the top perch which is the preload then ur car is going to ride like sh!t bro

Not so sure about these suggestions as you do not want to touch the two top most rings at all.

DO NOT ADJUST FROM THE TOP!....your changing the spring perch...it's support to be at 8 inches I think...any higher the stiffer it gets.....

Do it right from the bottom collar.

I adjusted from the top yesterday an unlike some of you thought my car doesn't ride like shit. Actually the opposite. It is a little stiffer which I wanted anyways and rides great. It was however still a bitch and took about 800 hits with a hammer and flathead so next time I'll be adjusting the bottom if needed. Thx for the help everybody
