^its better to save that money than to keep buying wheels with too aggressive or too weak of specs.
study, learn, research then buy what you want, once...

Nah, I like it, not because of specs, because they look nice on my car

Hey guys new member here I have questions the Varrstoen V2 MK4 I'm looking to buy 18" 5x114.3 +30 but to be quite honest I'm not sure if these will fit. I have been reading around and other members have recommended not to go less than 45 with the offset.

Thanks in advanced

I have +20/25 can't remember what they are off hand. +30 should be fine. Do you have brembo brakes?

No I don't have brembo brakes. I was thinking about getting 225/40/18 tires stretching them out and rolling the rear fenders. Now with stretched tires I don't think I'll be able to use the tpms right?

How wide are the wheels you are looking at? I have 8.75 and a 225 tire is barely stretched. TPMS should still be able to be used. I don't have any experience with them but i don't think a stretched tire would affect them. Someone else may be able to chime in on that one.

those specs will be fine depending on your drop

im dropped on tein s-techs Varrstoen ES1 18x9.5 et30 square setup with 235/40/18 all around.. no rubbing at all
ive had 4 people in the car and it still doesnt rub.. you should be fine as long as you dont drop the car more than 1.8"

yea if you want to slam it then youll run into some clearance issues with the fenders

18 x 9? 18 x 9.5? Both of these specs will work @ +30, you're just giving up tire width to get wheel poke with the lower offset, so it depends on the look you're after.

Varrstoen MK2 18x10 +25 on 245/40 - square set up - front and rears rolled, dropped on BC coils, currently sits 24" from ground to fender lip in front, and 24.5" in the rear...i only rub on sudden dips, but otherwise been good - running this set up 6.5 months now.
