How much for 19" Konig Imagines w/Nitto's?

So I was out driving, bored, and stopped by one of those chain tire stores. I stop in to look at the eye candy, and he had 19X8 opal Konig Imagines in there, with 235/35 Nitto's on them. He was asking $2,200 for them, mounted, balance, warranty, etc. I tried them on to see how they looked.:wow: They made the stock rims look boring. They have a +45 offset, but stuck out only as far as the wheel well. I turned the wheel and they wouldn't rub. The Nitto's have the little rubber that will protect the lip of the wheel, too. Anyway, I walked out so I could price them on here, and get an idea of what people think. It was hard not to get them, though. I think 99WDP has them in 18's, with lots of pictures in the gallery forum, or in the tire forum.
So, what do people think of the price? And, are Konig's known to chip? What about the Nitto's?

Even for 19 Konigs, those seem a bit high..

As for quality, I am interested in that myself..

I've also been tossing the idea of 18X7.5 Giovanna Corsica's, in silver, wrapped with Kumho's. ~$1,667
What to do, what to do. Wish I was rich, then I would be calling on Mr. ValueTL.
A buddy does have his business license, though, and has been telling me to order through him. Hmmm...

I seriously looked at gettign the konig imagines, but when I looked they anly have them in 18 and they said it would be a while befor they got 19's made. I never saw them in person in black opal, but that pic looks great. In my opinion I'd reather have cheaper 19's than better quality 18's. Those wheel look great on your car. Great that they dont rub, not to be selfish be that gives me hope for my set up, I get my stuff on tomarrow at 10:30am Ill post pix so you can see them, Rory

I do have the 18's, I've only had them a few weeks and I love the look on the WDP. The 19's weren't out when I ordered but I'm still happy with what I got. Checked Discount tire site and the same package is $2112 delivered with lugs and locks. I paid $1520 for the 18's with Kumho's.

That's where I stopped at and tried them on. So, for another $500, I can have what you have, but in 19's (with Nitto's, though). We don't live THAT close, so I doubt it would be tacky. haha Hmm....

I really like the look of those Konig's. I've been checking the wheels forum for about 5 months waiting for a set to pop up that I really liked. I think I may have to adjust my mods priority.

I was going to:
1) H&R Sport Springs / Tint
2) Body Kit
3) Wheels

I think my new list goes like this:
1) H&R Sport Springs / Tint
2) Konig Imagines
3) Body Kit

Discount Tire is a great company....

Make sure you get the certificates on the tires....$35 to replace a 19" tire free of charge......you can't beat that

If the price had been $2,000 for everything (wheels, tires, warranty, alignment, etc), I may have done it. Still, I'm getting mixed reviews about Konigs... Oh, and would be nice to have an offset of +48 or higher, too.

Hey SimTypeS, if you do buy those I would really be interested to hear from you if they rub or not??? I know everyone else has said this or that but I would still like to know. Good luck! More info on the Nitto's are that they don't wear out to fast but a little noisy because of the contact patch. If it matters the best tire out there for everything (wet, dry, tread wear, etc) are the bridgestone s-03's (for street use that is).
