If you put that rim on your car it will fit. BUT it will stick out so far it will look really stupid. You CANT lower your car at all and it will look really stupid.
Dude, find another rim.

Put in a 4x4 lift kit. You'll look just like those 4x4s I saw all over the place in New Mexico.

Pardon my asking, but what wheels are they? Maybe somebody makes a similar one.

8.5" is pretty wide to fit onto fwd cars, but if the offset is like a 57, then you will have the optimum setup...rubbing will occur just because it's so wide. i think a 45 offset on 8.5s is just enough to keep them flush, but a 35 offset is way too low.

why don't you have the place put the wheel on your car and see. i did something similar, tried on a 21x8.5 (45ish offset i think), but only did so to check the wheel style on the car (and not necessarily what is the widest rim i could fit)...

the outer rim lip was a little more than flush (er, sticks out) so you can imagine how much more it will stick out when a tire is mounted.

RIMS

HEY STANMAN-THOSE DRONELL'S LOOK SO SWEET!!! 21" WOW I WISH THEY WOULD ACTUALLY FIT BUT I KNOW THOSE RUN AT LEAST $6,000 W/ TIRES DAMN I CAN'T EVEN AFFORD 19" RIGHT NOW! ANYWAY YES 19x8 SHOULD BE THE BIGGEST PERIOD AND THAT'S WITH LIKE A +48-50 OFFSET!!! THEY MAKE A 225-35-19 TIRE NOW TOO THAT WOULD HELP IT NOT RUB AS WELL! IT LOOKS THIN AS HELL ON A 19x8 RIM THOU.
