How to detach TPMS sensors?

I bought an extra set of OE wheels and don't need the extra sensors. No tires currently on them so I have access to the valve stem and sensor. Searched but I couldn't find anything on how to remove it.

Is it possible to DIY it or do I have to take it to a rim / tire shop?

just turn the valve stem to unscrew it from the sensor, should fall right off after that

remove the nut from the outside of the rim, I think it's 11mm, so use a 11mm deep socket. then pull the sensor off, the seal might be making it tough to pull but just be firm with it, it'll come off

YES! I figured it out after looking at it again couldn't believe it was so easy. The valve stem just unscrews with an 11mm socket and then the TPMS sensor slides right out.

Thanks for the info and pics guys, will be a good reference for someone else I'm sure.
