How to calculate Speedo variation due to Tire Diameter

OK I was originally considering Yokohama Avid V4S however after searching this forum, I may just change my mind and cough up the $$$ for Michelin Pilot Sport A/S.

The most probable best fit is 225/50/17.
The tire diameter is 26.1 inches and 795 revs/mile.

The stock Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 215/50/17 has a tire diameter of 25.5 inches and 819 revs/mile

This basically translates to 11.2 feet difference per mile ( you would do 11.2 feet less per mile with the Pilot Sport A/S)
So after 10 000 mile I would have done about 21.2 miles less.
(There are 5280 feet per mile)

My Question is how is the speedometer calibrated. I am assuming the odometer will read 9978.8 miles as opposed to 10 000.

But what about speed? Should I see a variance in speed If any?
