Help on spring L/R position
It doesn't matter what side they go on. The front and rear will be different... so you wouldn't want to put a rear spring in front and vice versa. Not sure why you would take on a job like this if you don't know the answer to this question.

the Lt and Rt designations from the dealer is solely for acura to track parts for possible trends and failures in vehicles. other than that its the exact same part in this case for shocks/springs.
the dealer is limited in their depth of knowledge. the techs just do what they are told to do...they don't get paid to think. Lt. shock needs replacement....go get Lt. shock from parts, replace in car. that's it. tuners on the other hand, will know better.
there are two different part numbers for identical parts (front shocks). while the rears have the exact same number. yes it is confusing as hell, but fronts go in front, while the rears go in the rear regardless. they are interchangeable Rt to Lt and vice versa.
