HELP WITH RIMS!!! please!

I got a 2008 WDP TLS and like everyone on this forum i need to get some wheels! i searched and liked 2 styles and they are both made by TSW. My questions are: Are TSW wheels reliable(considering Chicago is filled with potholes)? Are these wheels considered "cheap"? Whats a good width with a decent sized lip without much fender rolling? And for the Photoshoppers: Can you photoshop these wheels on my car for me with a drop and a TLS aspec kit? i have the springs but they're not installed yet and the aspec kit is in the process of a group buy.

Anyways these are the wheels I am currently viewing.

TSW Snetterton

TSW Vairano

You guys could use this picture to put the wheels on:

Im thinking about 19's with a lip in the back with stretched tires. Opinions and suggestions to other wheels are also welcomed.

If that is your car (which looks really nice and clean BTW) I would not be putting on TSW wheels. I'd look into Volk, Work, Advan, Algernon etc. All can be found used for much cheaper then MSRP. Size wise, I'd go 19.8.5 front and 19x9-9.5 rear with a high 30's low 40's offset. Something like a +38 would probably look really nice.

Thats not my car. But its going to look like that once I install all the parts on my car. Its going to be similar except for the custom headlights (for now). I really don't feel like spending a lot on wheels. I want something that looks good and my wallet looks good as well. As for the specs of the wheel, i was thinking the same with 8.5 front and 9.5 rear.

I didn't mean to ask about ride quality of 19's. i meant to ask the strength of the TSW wheels (say i hit a pothole). But anyways what brand are those wheels??

Really? I have never really heard about them on the forum. People usually get the wheels mentioned above by Dan. But these look good in the picture, i just want to see both wheels photoshopped on to the car

depending on ur tire size.... if u hit a pothole pretty bad even w/ volks u'll still end up w/ a dented rim. just cause rims r more expensive doesnt make it harder to ruin

Yeah but with the higher end wheels are a bit stronger by the way they're put together and processed(i think).

I have the same car and I talked to a guy at TSW and he said that those would not clear Brembos... I like TSW wheel had them in many of my car and never had a problem with them.

thanks jwrong for posting my pic showing the TSW Willows

I love the rims and for the price i cant say one thing is wrong with them! i have hit some potholes pretty hard out here and not one issue at all TSW have been around a long time and they wouldnt be around this long if they werent quality

yea u can drop $4000 on a set of rims but I got my rims and tired new shipped to my door for just under $2000 not bad in my opinion and they have some nice style choices!

OP mine are 19"x8" front and 19"x9.5" rear with +40 offset no rolling of fenders and no rubbin i have a fingers gap between my tire and fender edge... if you wanted to be more aggressive you could put some spacers on but for daily driving they are just fine and look good...
