Help me find good tires for tl 06

My car needs tires and I have no clue where to begin. I tried to shop around in local tire shops and sears, in the end I was just clueless. My dad keeps telling me they are too expensive; $130-250, and told me to go to a junk yard to try to find some new tires but i'm reluctant to that idea. I live in nyc so all season tires are a must. I want longevity and ride comfort. Which tires do you suggest?

Take a look at the Yokohama W4s in 245/45-17 $119. Great wide tire for a good price.
With the Ultra High Performance tires, many opinions and a great many selections, so take a look here as it may give you some insight:

Also look at other performance tire categories as they may suit you needs also. You can spend quite some time on the site:

Call Mavis Tire, www.mavistire.com 1-800-757-4291 and ask for Mark J to get a quote. I got these tires for about $150 each including mounting, balancing, installation, and a full road hazard warranty.

I've looked at the site but none of the shops around have any of the good ones in stock and if they do they're usually a lot higher in price. Are falken ze912 any good?

dude...check out yokohama yk520. They are a 520 treadware, and so far grip is great, quiet, smooth. Read the reviews on www.discounttiredirect.com

they ship for free and you can pay ANY local shop to install for 20 bucks per tire.

Fuck that quote the local Mavis gave you. Call Mark J and tell him you got recommended in the Acura forum. He'll transmit his quote to the Mavis location closest to you and they'll have to honor that price.
