Help!! Lowenhart BR-5 or trafficstar traffic?
Opinions needed please!! Should I go for 19" trafficstars traffic or 18" lowenhart BR-5? I have a pearl white 2001 TL. Are there any pics available with any of these rims on a TL? Please help, thanx?

hmmm tough decision...
i like the style of the BR5 better...the spokes have a little more edge detail to them...
but 19" wheels....mmm mmm good
ask yourself this...if you could choose from 19" br5's and the trafficstars which would you choose...if you choose the BR5's then save your pennies until you can make up the difference.

i too wouldn't compare the wheels if they weren't the same size. personally, i don't think they look the same...the br5 has 5 v-shaped spokes, while the trafficstart looks like 5 split spokes (altstadt I-ish).
i like the br5s!

Traffic Stars in Polish look pretty sweet. Definitely will consider them in the Spring Time. Nice Cross between the Alstadt I and IV's.
Hey can you explain the "Hardly rubbing" further please??

hardly rubbing = rear rubs only when going fast through speed bumps and when there are passengers in the the rear. Might help if i slow down a bit or shave the inner rears a bit. otherwise, regular driving = no rubs on these 19x8 +48 offset.
road noise are MORE noticible when coming to a slow stop on these, is that normal for big tires?
will post pic monday.

if you go with the 19s and dont roll the fenders, i would say go with a 225/35/19 tire. unfortunately, your tire choices are limited. i could only find the Pirelli P-Zero Assimetrico, the butta$$ ugly BF Goodrich Scorcher TA's with those silly colors, and the Falkens.
But with a 19" +48 offset, you won't rub with the 225's i dont think.

Also this is kinda of a dumb question.... So are the TrafficStars called Alstadts Trafficstars? Or just TrafficStars and Alstadts has nothing to do with them?
