Help Installing Tein Street Advance Z's

Hey guys, looking for some help on the install of my SAZ's that I picked up from Bruce a few weeks ago.I got them to go on my 07 Type S. I removed the top hats and thick washer from my old struts but when installing them on to the Teins, there is about an inch gap between the spring and the top hat. I'm able to compress the shock down into the spring with my body weight, but when I let off, obviously the mount rises and the spring comes out. The picture shows the gap between the mount and spring uncompressed. Will I be fine letting the weight of the car compress the spring into the mount, or did I miss a step . Any help will appreciated. I'm working on the fronts by the way.

Your photo doesn't work.

is the spring set as low as it will go?

If so...you will have room between the tophat and spring when the shock is fully extended.

it will be fine to drive with that condition in most situations. But the car will be massively low.

This is normal for the Tein SA if you have the height set very low.

Yeah I wasn't planning to run the car that low. Just had the spring seats set there to do the install and then move them up once I get them on the car. Thanks man
