The install takes roughly 4.5 hours. The labor rate is $90/hr. That equals $400.

That being said, we are a brick and mortar store with overhead and payroll. We cannot perform services at a rate that a DIYer would charge. Also our labor rate is actually one of the lowest in the area. We guarantee our work and we have performed this job dozens of times.

They are not too bad to install. I would recommend a set of camber kits for at least the rear. We did a buddies TL and his tires were shot in like 2K miles. Also check out the 3G TL Garage. There is a DIY thread on these.

TEIN recommends 1.7" F&R but you can go up to roughly 2.5" F&R.

Did he get an alignment after? Because tires shouldn't go that bad just from camber. His toe is probably out of wack

4.5 hours to install these? Why? I did my springs and shocks with a help of a friends dad and in his garage, so no lift, in just under 4 hours. And we didn't know what the hell we were doing. Me, never worked on a car before, and him never working on the TL. I just printed off the DIY form here and we went at it.

I don't think so. I think I only took out the rear seats.
