HELP - Gram Light 18x9.5 +12

Guys I need your help. I am thinking of picking up some wheels and the spec are 18x9.5 +12 All around Gram Light.

I have an 07 TL type S.

Will this fit ? Or poke out a lot. I like the hella flush style but not too much and will this clear the stock brembo ?

it will poke, unless you're willing to run camber and stretched tires

my 19x9 +12 and 19x10 +22 has -2.8 and -5.4 camber respectively
with a stretch of 215/235, with more stretch I could get away with less camber

your 18x9.5 +12 in 9 and 10 terms is 9 +6 and 10 +18
I'd run 215s all around and you'll get away with a decent amount of camber

clearing the stock brembo is determined by what disc the wheel is

Anybody have pick of how this sit in the TL ?

check out bforbrian's thread with orange TEs. Those are 18x9.5 +22. Imagine +12mm offset.

Gram Lights FTW! :D what did you get?

How is that much camber going to effect tire wear?

I am thinking of picking up some 57 Max.

So bforbrian is +22. +12 would poke out more ?

enigmaos 04-08-2010 06:20 PM

Have you looked at 57 Pro? :D

SuPERSaK 04-08-2010 06:34 PM

yeah thats money.... I just ran across a deal for the 57 Max in 18x9.5 +12 all around.. I think it's a lito too poke for me.

If you like 57 Pro, click "Nice Dish" in my signature. :D

9.5 +12 is pretty aggressive, esp up front.

My 9.5 +22 in the rear with rolled and slightly pulled fenders is 100% flush, no poke, no tucking, rim kisses fender.

Up front my 9.5 +22 pokes around 5mm and the tires hit even with 225/40s.

Now, just picture the wheels up front and in the back sticking out 10mm more; 10mm might not sound like a lot but when the wheels are on the car they are.

My recommendations, if you are adamant with these wheels, are to run 215/40-18 all around; you can do 225/40 all around IF you have a camber kit all around.

If slammed, you will def be hellaflush.
