alrite, since i couldnt find any information on how to do this, i decided to attempt it on my own. i decided to flip the ball joint and trim off some material on the uca in order to do so. this was a spur of the moment thing and all i had was my cell phone as a camara, sorry for the crappy pics but they give the general idea.

i hope this helps someone out

i used the top ball joint bracket as a template of how much a wanted to trim off.

i used a sharpie and mark the amount to be trimmed.

maxed out without the modification.

ball joint flipped and uca needs to be trimmed to allow fitment.

uca with portion trimmed off. i trimmed off more than was needed to fit the ball joint, but it will allow even more camber if i ever need it.

ball joint flipped and mounted, notice the spare room to slide the ball joint back further if needed when doing the alignment.

ill bolt them down tonite, hopefully the upper ball joint bracket doesn't interfere with clearance.

Nice work, but it scares me that your cut is a little uneven on the right side there. Hopefully that won't affect the structural integrity of the UCA.

yea i got a little trigger happy on that side, but there bolted on now and no problems. only regret is that i shouldve cut deeper down cause i might need more camber.

oh man you are a life saver lol. i was about to put up my brand new upper arms for sale in order to buy the hellaflush ones. did you get it aligned? im wondering how much negative camber you were able to achieve with this mod.

im running a +9 offset on 18x9.5 and 215/40/18 and i have rolled and pulled but its still not enough. skunk2 upper arms are maxed out too. so i think im going to give this a try.

this are the readings before the alignment. thats negative camber max'd out in the front with the modified skunks.

after setting the toe to zero, i ended up with

front left -3.5
front right -3.6

rear left -5.3
rear right -5.4

yea i think u get more camber with the stock upper control arms than the non modified skunks. u might be able to get more than 5 degrees neg camber off the skunks, but you would have to trim off a little bit more than i did.
