Having serious suspention problems!!!!!! PLEASE HELP
I have a 04 TL AT 130k iv had it for a few months now i love it but it seems like something just isnt right with the suspention when ever i go over dips in the road the car wants to float all over, so sloppy, and is alot worse at higher speeds, i asked honda dealer what they thought and they said it was the struts in the rear so i got new ones and got some tien lowering springs at the same time and now it almost seems worse im not fimiliar with these cars as iv had lifted trucks in the past so this is all pretty new to me, any ideas? iv drivin a 06 TL befor and it felt good and solid but this car feels like a turd, i didnt change the front struts but it couldnt possibly make that much of a difference it seems like there is something more then just struts????????????????????????
Would've been a good time to do the front when you put the teins in.
If you do decide to do the front, consider new bushings as well. I did our '02 a couple weeks ago (93k miles/9 years) and the old bushings were pancakes compared to the new ones.
Just a thought.

Bushings are Item #6 in this parts list:

There are ball joints. But I don't know the symptoms of their failure.
There have aslo been reports of broken/torn compliance bushings. So you might check that as well. Look in this thread for info:
