for 735, your better buying tein basic coilovers or even the super streets. just my though. You could even go with the D2 coilover setup for that much.

$735 for that setup is a good price. Usually ~$600 for Koni and ~$200 for H&R Sports.

mmade22 and Trancemission have that set up (other as well, I am sure). I've never read or heard anybody unhappy with it. Trancemission swears by it.

Adding Koni Yellow or the Nuespeed version is my long term plan.

I had the same setup, H&R Sport with Koni SP3 from Neuspeed.com. Best suspension setup for the car, EVER. And I tried Tein Basic and Koni Sport/Prokit, too.

I'd run Neuspeed Sport springs for Accord V6 and Koni SP3 from Neuspeed.com. It's called Neuspeed Supercup Kit. The kit comes with Race springs but they will substitute them with tje Sport ones if you request so.

I'll give you the fact your car has a nice ride. I took a ride in it last week and its still nice. Its just not the same without the Volks though

Hey Matt, is Garrett taking care of my old car well? Smack him if he doesn't. LOL. And tell him to buy a set of Volks and sign up for an Acurazine account if he hasn't done that.

I still miss it from time to time.

Is the only difference between the Koni Yellows and the SP3s the ride height adjustments (3 vs 5)? Just curious if the valving is the same, as well as the design of the shock since technically, one if for the Accord and one is for the TL.

He drives like a grandma, so yes he's taking care of it He just needs to clean it better

I've tried to get him to sign up hes just not a fanboy like us. And he is searching for some rims right now, but Volks aren't in his budget I guess.

The differences between Koni SP3 and regular Sport per Neuspeed.
* 5 height setting on SP3 vs 3 (rear Sport) and 2 (front Sport)
* SP3 has 20 mm shorter piston rods
* SP3 has slightly firmer valving vs Sport

SP3 shocks are engineered together by Koni and Neuspeed to work perfectly with Neuspeed springs.

7gen Accord, 3gen TL, and TSX share the exact same shocks (be it Sport or SP3).

LOL. Just tell him to wax the clear bra regularly to prevent yellowing. Or you can just tell him to pay you to do it.

Tell him to find a set of used Volks. It's time. Summer is almost here.

Thanks. Interesting info. What affect does the shorter piston rod have?

They are suited better for lowering springs because the pistons won't bottom out as easily.
