H&R Race Springs and Shocks (used)?

Just saw this listing on the Black Market and had a few questions:

https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/sold-3g-tl-h-r-race-springs-shocks-assembly-705758/

Would I be able to just replace these with my stock shocks with no problems? Will there be issues with the alignment and can the OEM shocks handle this drop (1.75F 2R)?

Thanks in advance for any input, I really want to drop my TL but I wanted to check with you guys and see if these would work.

OEM shocks can handle it but for a very short period of time. And you would need to get the alignment after anyways.

I asked the seller how many more miles I could get out of the OEM shocks and he said about 20K. This seems high, what do you think is realistic?

H&R race springs give a very agressive drop. Once settled in and all, its over 2" I think

So it won't be a headache later, better to go with aftermarket shocks then stock cuz they'll give out quick and your ride will ride like shit

I don;t know I am not an expert on this. I have been searching about this kind of stuff as well since I am looking to lower my ride and everyone told me that with OEM shocks (and even less of a drop then you) I wouldn't get 20k. But then again, you never know. I think it would depend on what kind of roads you are driving on.

Hey I saw that you did this to your TL. Looks real nice

How much did the kit & springs cost you in total? Also, how tough was the install?

$599 shipped

and install isn't so bad. There's alot of DIY guides on this board. You will need a spring compressor though
