H&R Coilovers brand new $825!

So I found this site. www.tunersdepot.com that has the H&R coilovers for $824.99 when you sign up which is free. Anybody ever ordered from them before? I think you have to pay with paypal but the total comes out to like $881 shipped which is the cheapest I have been able to find them.

Nice find. It actually says free shipping so I'm guessing $824.95 total.

What about Tein SS. I was told you can't go wrong or better then Tein SS.

I don't know. All I know is I will NEVER put just coils on again, NOT.

well you can adjust dampening with the tein ss and not on this h&r coilover. I do not know which one is better since I don't own a set of h&r coilovers. But they sure do look nice and shiny though.

I think he means how they are built. I could be wrong but the H&R use a mono-tube design which is better than the twin tube design the tein uses. My brother has tein basics on his 2nd gen TL and likes them. I had H&R's on a jetta gli and loved them, thats why I'm going with H&R.

Which H&R compares to the Tein SS with height and damping?

The H&R arent damping adjustable so you can only really compare the basics to the H&R's.

I got the Basics, and they are too bouncy and mushy (I'm going for firm and tight). I'm not slammed (at least I don't think) b/c I'm running 20". But they make noises too (someone said all coilovers do though). I feel there's more body roll too maybe b/c I don't have an aftermarket RSB? I don't know I just want to run a "better" setup. Or maybe I'm just kinda spoiled. I borrowed my brother's 135i for a week and he's dropped on Bilstein's (I think) and was just wondering how I could get my car to be as tight as that, or at least tighter and more responsive to steering inputs.

I'm thinking about Megans right now, but I've only heard of them here. If there's a 'name' that I can trust I'd gravitate towards those more. H&R, I know... Neuspeed ,I know... Buddy Club, I know... even Eibach's, I know... Damn.. if Ohlin's made something for our car I'd seriously consider it. I have heard of Teins so I got the basics, and the more I read the more I find that these are the "low" end models of the Teins? And I'm starting to know why now. I mean as an application for the street many are satisfied, but I guess I'm not. I mean if they offered something in their Flex line for our cars I'd be all over that too.

Does Buddy CLub have an app for the 3G? OR the Accord? Something equivalent? I've searched but can't seem to find the answer. I just end up in the TSX section all the time.

These H&R's look nice but no damping adjustment? what about the top hat?

Seen some Eibach's and don't know how those are, except pricey. It just seems like everyone here is running Tein's and there's not much variety.

How are the Tanabe's (sustecs, right?)?

Sorry for the bombardment, but yeah I was running my car through some back roads, and just wasn't satisfied with the way it was not sticking to the road. I'm still reading and learning... any input or answers would be appreciated. THanks guys.

u can't compare a tl or even a 335 to your bros 135 which is basically a twin turbo go kart with a bmw steering rack and custom high end suspension. we don't get high end suspension like tein flex and bilstein.

if u don't like the basics then definitely don't get megans or ksports which are basically if u want to slam the car. at least try a rsb cus it's a cheap, easy and effective mod. it sounds like you would be better off with the h&r's or koni yellows and springs. talk to mike at atlp, he used to have the basics and didn't like them either for track use and was running the koni setup.

^ Thanks, that really helps. I'm going to look into these H&R's then. I mean my basics don't have damping adjustments either, so it wouldn't be so bad running the H&R's. H&R's are monotube also right?

I got the H&Rs and used the TEIN basics b4 on my CL-S. The H&Rs are stiffer but feel much better and more balanced. TEIN Basics were too soft for my liking and felt more like stock, another thing i noticed is that the H&Rs go lower. Hope it helps!

Nope, no damper adj. kit for the TL.

That's the RSS Club Sport kit.

H&R Street Perf. kit is great none the less.
