Got my ES7's!!!
hello everyone. i'm new to the site, but not new to the Honda/acura community. I live down in sunny south florida and picked up my 2004 non navi TL last October with only 48k on the odo and a clean carfax. the only thing wrong with the car when I bought it was the dashboard had already cracked. I didn't find out it was such a common issue until after the fact. I overlooked it mostly because the low mileage and low price were too good to pass up on. anyways, here she is...
anyways...just got these in the mail on Wednesday!! Big thanks to Tim over at Varrstoen. He was a major help! Wheel specs are 19x9.5 et22 on all 4 corners...
fenders will be rolled all the way around. gonna use 225/35/19's and i will be purchasing a set of ISC coilovers reeaaalll soon.

i'm tired of seeing everyone and their mother riding around on Vossens don't get me wrong, they are great wheels and have a great warranty/quality as well but they've become bellybuttons....everyone's got em. lets switch things up a bit, shall we?

hahaha still recovering from buying them at the moment. gonna buy the coilovers next...then tires. that way i won't go through that ugly phase of wheels with no drop. cant stand seeing cars with wheels and no drop...just doesn't look right.

They will not need to measure the winshield tint. its obviously tinted below the line.
I think you will need to be pulling the front fenders at a minimum with that offset and width, unless your into camber. already see your planning alot of stretch

Beast-I could see the reflection, and know tint % quite well. What are your side windows? I have had 35% before and received a fix it ticket for it (old S10). Have thought about doing the TL's but don't want the attention. Love the ability to drive with no sunglasses tho!

definitely gonna wait...ISC's ftw
front and rear fenders will be rolled/pulled accordingly and yes the car will have camber. tires will be stretched as well..225/35/19
if I remember correctly, the sides and rear are 30%. rear may be darker though. I have only been pulled over once specifically for tints in the 12 years that I have been driving in south florida. cops are usually out looking for people speeding or carrying drugs (which there are lots of down here).
i'm dying to get the aspec kit! it looks bad ass! but that will come after the wheels/tires are on and the car is dropped. between wheels/tires and coilovers i'm already gonna be spending around 3 g's . the aspec kit is like another $700. this car isn't cheap to hook up if u do it right, but its worth every penny. gonna black out the headlights and get some zkwr lenses and possibly wrap the grill in black also. might do the accord foglight mod as well at some point and the list goes on. lots of plans for this car. too much to do and not enough money/time....I work 7 days a week with 2 jobs and have to juggle my girlfriend in there somewhere.
I plan on going fairly low. don't know how much i'll need to drop it to achieve the look I want, but i'm guessing around +/- 2" all around. will that camber be achieved naturally when I drop it or will I need camber kits? still debating on kits mostly cuz I want to know for sure that they're needed. I've always used them in the past when I have dropped cars, but going for a totally different look from what i'm used to this time around.
thanks for all the comments guys! keep 'em coming! hopefully i'll be able to get the coilovers sooner then later

Is there a deleted post or something here? First two reply is by the OP talking about Vossens, but I can't figure out why. Is OP raining on OPs parade?
Regardless, good luck with fitment, should look good.

LMFAO! there is NO deleted post..i was merely stating that i'm tired of seeing VOSSENS. I purchased VARRSTOENS...big difference. just wanted to clear that up. it will definitely look good once I have everything on and setup correctly.

Ironically, a lot more people have Varrstoens on their TL's than Vossens. The ES7's look good though.

I was speaking more in general terms. that may be true for our TL's, but as far as bmw's, infinitis, lexus'...everyone's got Vossens (cv1, cv3, and cv7's). at least down here in Miami they do. it's like nobody has their own imagination. it gets boring seeing the same wheels everywhere. just my
