Goodyear Eagle F1 vs Michelin Pilots
Trying to decide on tires for the A-spec wheels, anyone have these on their car or experience with them?
Seems like they are pretty close in performance but Michelins are about $50 more each tire.
Thanks

First off what pilot?
If its a max performance or ultra high performance summer tire Neither are designed for the snow. They both come with not intended for snow warning.
Summer only the F1 GS-D3 hands down.

I might be buying new tires tomorrow, and want a tire that is good in the rain and will last a while. I don't mind spending good money for a long lasting tire - any suggestions? I am thinking of a Michelin or Goodyear.

If you are talking about Ultra High Performance Sport (summer) tires you need to try a set of these:
http://www.michelinman.com/tires/ult...lot-sport-ps2/
I have them on my '04 Cobra in 18" sizes and they are nothing short of phenomenal.
I have used the Goodyear Eagle F1 supercar tires on my last car a '04 VW R32 and they can't come close to the max performance capabilities of the Michelins.
Then again unless the car in question has the suspension fully optimized for maximum performance the average sport driver won't even notice the difference.
