Good places to find wheels/tires online?
I've hit Wheelmax and Tire Rack.
I'm thinking of putting some 18 x 7.5 or 18 x 8 wheels on my 2003 TLS.
I can usually find stuff cheaper online than in town, so I am asking for some websites where I can find some good deals.
Thanks.

I agree with the wheelmax comment, I had a very bad experience with them. tires.com (discount tire) doesn't have the greatest selection of wheels, but they are very reputable.

Wow, thanks guys. I didn't realize Wheelmax was such a bad outfit. Their prices and selection seem pretty good.
Thanks for steering me in the right direction!!

Not trying to stir the pot too much, but I'd appreciate some feedback concerning bad Wheelmax purchases. As of now, their prices are the best on the net. Of course, if their products suck and their service sucks, it will all be a moot point.
On paper, they seem to have the best deals available! What's up with that?

Could you guys provide some insight as to the problems you had with Wheelmax? Their prices are so damn good.....it's hard not to order from them.

I like the chrome Exel TZ7 18x8 package and the chrome Katana C10 18x7.5 package.
I like the thought of getting the tires and wheels together being pre-balanced...not to mention free shipping.
Let me know what you can come up with.

listen.....wheelmax will rob you if you don't know what you need. Don't listen to any of their advice, just tell them what you want, and how much ur willing to pay. And your all set. If you try to be all nice wit them, ur screwed. Stay business like, and ur fine. A bunch of my friends have gotten wheels from them, the only ones that had trouble are the ones that asked them questions. KNOW WHAT YOU WANT before calling. Good luck
