Good to hear others thoughts

Ok, so just ordered TSW Bardo 19x8 Matte Black rims and Nexen N7000 all season tires. Bolts, locks, everything out the door for a little over $1800. Price wise, how does that sound to everyone for living in NJ? Thx

Why would location matter?

Sounds like a decent price for everything. Congratulations!

i spent a little more than you on a used set of wheels.
, not sure what you're wanting out of this thread...

TSW's are a big brand, they're prices are online EVERYWHERE.
if you really wanted to know how you did, find the MSRP of the wheels on the internet plus tires.
but it wouldnt matter unless you bought stolen wheels that were sold to you for less than 600.

you did fine sir. 1800 is just getting into the wheel game.

Didn't know if location for buying rims mattered or not. I've lived in a few different places in the states. Certain things are a little more expensive in the Northeast. So wondered for NJ/NY area, does that sound like a good price. Make sense?

What I'm wanting out of this thread is just what it states. Others thoughts on the price? I did my research, but talking to real people is always better, hence the reason of this forum. Your last comment is just what I was wondering, because I was curious from real owners. Thank you sir...

Yeah, as Justn said, that sounds just fine!

If you bought them online, I don't think price would matter. Just as much as if I ordered here in FL!

I spent around $2000 on my first setup.

Ok cool thank man. Yea I went into a shop. If I had ordered online I would see how the price wouldn't matter where you ordered from, but yea I went to a local rim shop. I guess that's the real reason of thinking about a price difference, and if others thought it was a fair pricing.

Well, lets see. Wheels alone can be bought for $718 from discount tire direct with free shipping.

The tires seem to be selling for ~$100 a tire at Walmart for 225/55/17.

So that's $1,120. Add in say, $100 to mount and balance, so that's $1,220. Maybe throw in another $100 for lugnuts and locks?

If you bothered to check, you could have saved $500 by ordering online.

The hell are you seeing the TSW Bardo wheels at DTD for $718?

I added the 19x8 matte black wheels to my cart and it's coming to $993 without the installation kit.

Also, he bought 19's, so 17" tires are not going to work.

Ah, my apologies, I missed the 19s. I'm only guessing on the tire size, but looks like wheels and tires can be had for $1500ish plus $100 for install. That's not too far off the local price.
