Please post either a ghetto rim (bling bling) or a really nice rim for TL and state why you think it's nice or why it's bling .

I am unfamiliar with the concept of nice wheels (have owned cars with wheel covers in the past) so I am confused here... becuase I see one person post a picture of 19" chrome sparkley wheels and everyone goes insane... and then another person posts some other big chrome wheels and he gets 2 pages of flames calling him ghetto and trashy.

So please, illustrate to me the concept of ghetto vs nice wheels. (I like the stock TL wheels myself)

usually anything bigger than 19 or 20 inches and disgustingly flashy gets flamed, sometimes colored wheels get flamed as balls. but rims are all personal taste and the color of ur car, id probably say 25% Car Color, 75% personal taste....too each his own :-)

I don't quite get the point of this thread. You said you are "unfamiliar with the concept of nice wheels".?! I believe "spinner" type wheels on a TL will get a lot of comments. "Spinner" type wheels remind me of an adult version of those spinner toys you see at a kids party. Personnally, I think that TLs lowered with the stock 17" wheels is .

I said I dont understand the concept becuase one minute the boards are praising some big chromes up and down and the next minute another guy gets nothing but flames for the same kind of rim basically... I must be missing something.

The best I have seen so far are from Axis... the Hiro hypersilver... looks great.

And yes, spinners are ghetto and even I knew that.

How about really dark tint all the way around? When I see cars like that I can't help but think someone is trying to look street.

It's all personal preference...most people here don't like chrome, bottom line. Most chrome set ups will get "ghetto" or "bling-bling" comments. On the other hand, put on some Volks and people get all excited as if they own stock in Rays Engineering. In the end, it doesn't matter what everyone else thinks, it only matters what you think...please yourself, not the world.
