I would suggest purchasing a full set of tires. For example, the winters in MD aren't bad enough to purchase winter only dedicated tires, so I bought all season non-performance tires for my CL-S for the winter. I doubt I will drive it with snow on the ground but I have them just in case.

1) this should be in the tires section
2) only 2 winter tires will create some pretty cool drifting moves when half your car slides out on you when you turn.

I would call The Tire Rack and ask their opinion. All of their winter tires are high quality but each fits its own need. It all depends on how much it snows in your area, do you have to deal with ice, are your streets plowed, is your area hilly, how cold does it get, etc.

I have great results with Blizzaks, but call The Tire Rack and they will explain the pros and cons of all their winter tires and then you can make the right decision.
