Just bought these things for cheap! Tirerack is giving a $50 rebate on them, and they qualify for a chance to win a $50 Visa Gift Card. I've had them installed for 4 days now, they aren't noisy and I'm liking the feel.

Was going to get the Michelin's but from what I've read on here, a lot of people aren't happy with them. I got the 235/40/ZR18's for $622 shipped. Figured I would give these tires some props, since so many people have threads about tires going on.. it's easier to start this one than to spam everyone else's threads

Congrats on the great deal! I too got a deal but different tires.

 

I had the General Exclaims UHP tires and they lasted about 1yr~9k miles, down to 2/32 in the fronts, rears were cupping and down to 5/32. New tires are about 9/32...

So I kept the rear 5/32 exclaims and bought 2 G-maxx for about 220 a piece. Was back in the shop a week later because they didn't cut the mustard... Was willing to leave Kauffman tire and they hooked me up with 4 Cooper Zeons R32-A (~$375) and it seems to handled better than the mixed-matched Generals...

WAS a General fan but not anymore...
