Generals have always been some of the worst crap you can buy.
They've been known to make the original Bullshitstone EL-42's look good!

the UHPs are good tires. I had them on my aftermarket wheels for a good 2000 miles before taking them (the wheels) off to put my winter wheels on. I was very impressed w/ the tires.
Here's a better review by someone on the forum: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...hlight=general

I was just about to post that link. I loved the tires, especially for the price of a 19". They wore a bit quicker than I expected, but I drive very hard, so it was somewhat warranted.
Overall, I was very impressed, but I would like to replace them in the summer with something that will cater to my driving style a bit more and give me more aggressive dry performance. I know I'm gonna pay out the a$$ for something new, but oh well. I would still buy these again especially if I am on a budget, which at the moment it looks like I am.

Thanks for the info...I was feeling kinda down after the first post cuz I have already bought them because I got a great discount from a friend of mine who ownes a tire shop and is a dealer...so I kinda had to go with those if I wanted them at market price, anyway thanks a lot! I'm sure they'll be fine

Advanced
I bought 4 early this month that replaced my original bridgestone re030 hpt. Those lasted 23,500, became loud, a bit slippery and worse of all, increased the noise, vibration and harshness into the cabin.
The generals have only be on my car for 500 miles but so far so good. handling and grip is just about as good as the re030, tire noise is a bit quieter, ride comfort is vastly improved and the cost: wow, out the door for $430.00. Give them a try.
