Front strut assembly replacement

Not sure which forum this belongs in.

I am wondering if these will work for my 08 base.

Good price.... My front passenger is in need of changing.

I'm not certain, I feel inclined to say yes since the part numbers are the same except for the ending series - A31 vs A16. But I'll let another member chime in. What I can say is I replaced the front and rear strut assemblies on mine along with the left & right driveshafts. You're gonna enjoy how the car handles again.

I found these part numbers on oemacuraparts or something amd just googled them to see if i could them any cheaper... Thing is there were two options for my car... These two plus another set which were a little more expensive amd which I could not find such a good price for... So if these will work Ill get them.

51601-SEP-A09

51602-SEP-A09

Those are the other two part number choices... Anyone know what the difference might be? I was wondering one might be a spec shocks and the other regular?

For the '08 Base, the strut assembly you will need is:
51601-SEP-A31 (Front Right)
51602-SEP-A31 (Front Left)

I recommend giving your local Acura parts dept., before you pull the trigger on an online purchase just to confirm the part numbers above. My dealership matches online pricing w/shipping. It doesn't hurt to ask if yours will do the same. Regarding the part numbers, usually the last set of numbers in the part number series denote version for that part as they improve the design. When I purchase parts, I always order the latest version to the part. Good luck, hopefully that helps.

Lol it does not work like that here. I bet they would quote somewhere around 250-300 for each. Luckily I am only an hours drive to Minnesota where I can pick up parts.

Thanks looks like the right part numbers.
