Hi Guys,

I feel like I am having a lot of little issues as the car gets up there in mileage. Here is my new issue. I have a clunking noise coming from the front left of my car when I go over bumps. It sounds like metal on metal contact like something is loose. It seems to happen when the shock is compressed. Does anyone have any idea one what it could be?

I have read on here that it could be a motor mount, but everyone who had a motor mount issue said the sound was coming from the right front of the car, and this is coming from the left so I am not sure. When I say left I mean drivers side for the record

If anyone has had similar issue or has an idea on what it could be, can you please impart your knowledge on me??? THANKS!!!

 

Does the TL have a Sway Bar End Link? I have been reading on forums that this is a probably cause of this noise ... if this is the issue how hard/ easy is it to fix?

 

For the record, the car has about 70k miles on it, can something like this wear out at this mileage. I don't really consider it that high mileage.
