Front 10mm spacer install

Can anyone help me out with this one? I tried loosening the screws on the front hubs, but they are really in there and I dont want to strip them. I'm trying to install 10mm spacers with extended studs and I need to take the hub off and am having no luck.

PB Blaster and let sit for 20 mins then one hard WHACK with a mallet and they will loosen.

Ok thanks, I'll give that a try.

They dont make 10mm spacers with the studs pressed in them already do they (ie ichiba v2's)? I've got 15mm's like this but cant find 10mm for our cars with the pressed in studs.

Give Macus a call at HeelToe. This is what you need and you don't have to worry about extended studs.

I've already got a spacer with the extended studs, trying to install this before I resort to getting one with pressed-in studs.

I am on stock wheels so there is nothing to really see. I wanted to get wheels this summer but missed out on a couple of good deals so I chose not to do it this summer and just space out my wheels a little. Will put 10mm on the back for now so I can see what it looks like. but most probably will go with 15mm in the back and 10mm in the front.

I've got 15mm in the back right now, trying to install this 10mm for the front. I guess I'll try the PB and mallet....

are you on stock wheels? Can you take a picture to show me what the back wheels looke like with 15mm in the back? Like from behind so I can see the flush/poke. Also how much are you lowered and did you have to roll the fenders?

What's the offset and width on stock wheels? And Myron what wheels are you running? I have the RJ inspyres which is 8.5 width and +42, I was going to run a 10mm in the back and a 5mm in the front. You guys think I should be more aggressive in the back?

Like stillhere153 mentioned before, grab some washers and try it out Cost me like $3 from Home Depot. I wanted to do 5mm in the front but decided on 10mm. The 10mm does not require extended either.

I think 10mm in the back would look awesome for you!

I am running just my stock 17x8" wheels and I want them to be somewhat flush with the fender.
Well with that width and that offset your wheels are already 9mm more outward than the stock wheels. So I wouldn't go more then 10mm more in the back but it all depends on what you like.
Also I am a noob at this so I wouldn't listen to myself haha All I know is what I read on this site

all 3G stock rims are +45 offset.

Theres a thread in the photography section called 'install day' by carrielynn after the install, but it doesnt show off the flushness or the rims that well.

And who said you dont need extended lugs with 10mm spacers? is that safe?

LMAO....maybe you arent understanding what im saying

Those are spacers with pressed in studs. OBVIOUSLY you dont need extended studs with those. I installed those on my rears no problem. I have the type 1 spacers that come with extended studs which need to be installed in the stock locations.

These 10mm spacers are not hub centric. Yesterday I tried mounting them on my rear wheels and they were making some noise like the wheels weren't centered. I don't know how people can mount them without hub centric rings and still make the wheels be centered. (I am missing one of the nuts that should have came with the spacer so I tried using an extra lug that I had for my wheels. Maybe it was making a noise because of that. ). I want to try to do this again with correct hardware.

Does anyone know where I can get some of those nuts (tapered ones)? I am missing one and 2-3 of the other ones are a little stripped down.

OP sorry if I thread jacked

FYI, Project Kics does not make hubcentric rings for the 10mm spacers. Even without it you should be fine. Just make sure your wheel is on correctly and tighten it down in a star pattern.

yea I know they don't make the hub rings. I just searched around the net. But I am sure that the 15mm ones can just be milled down 5mm and work just as fine with the 10mm spacer. The thing is that they are 40US$ + shipping. A fucking rip off if you ask me. The thing is that I am missing some nuts that come with it and that some of the other ones are kind of stripped. So now I need the new nuts but I can't seem to find any tapered ones like the ones that come with it.
