FLat Tire Problem

I got a flat tire recently and i went to my dealership and they wanted to charge me over 350 to change the tire. Where can i get a tire for a 08 Base TL for not too much?

Where are you located?

Just go any tire store, and they'll fix the nail for less than $30...

Why you guys always going back to Dealership for minor non-covered issues?

hmmm, i just assumed the tire cannot be repaired. but if it can, then he should probably just do that.

if its just a flat due to a nail or something, plugging the tire is about 10-15 bucks. but if the hole is in/on the sidewall, you definitely need a new tire. in that case buy elsewhere.

Where is the nail located? If it's on the bottom, it can be plugged. If it's on the side, time for a new tire. If you need a new tire, check the discount tire places around town. Never go the dealership unless it's a warranty issue. Good luck.

I know here locally, if your car is damaged from a pot hole the city will pay for repairs.

I think pot hole, or windshield crack, should all be repair and paid by the city, or state.

After all, debris and little rocks on the freeway could be dangerous and I believe the state or city should maintain and keep a safe road, right?

In FL your insturance MUST replace your windshield if it has a crack longer than a dollar bill. Great perk.
