Flat tire
Flat tire
So i was on the parkway when i hear a loud noise. About ten seconds later i see that my tire pressure was falling dramatically. The next thing i know is there is a nice size hole in my tire. The tire had 3000 miles on it. Kind of sucks...
Anyway, does it pay for me to get the same tire as the ones that came with the car or get a cheaper different tire?

Go to either a Bridgstone or Michelin tire retailer (whichever you have), and see if they will honor any "road hazard" replacement etc.. Check your paperwork but you never know, many tires have road hazard for the first year or first 3/32's of wear. You may get off at no cost what-so-ever.
Best of luck.
If all of your tires are that new, get the same as what's currently on the car.
You want the same tires all the way around to the extent possible. Sometimes folks will change out 2, then get the other 2 a bit later, and that's a decent compromise for managing cash flow.
OTOH - the stock MXM4's (if that's what you've got) aren't that great of a tire. It's just a shame to throw out 3 servicable tires, to get 4 good ones.
