Factory alignment sucks

I replaced my EL42s today with Pilot AS Michelins. I have around 10K on my 04 . I have just been waiting for a decent excuse, and a flat two weeks ago that I plugged is good enough reason right before a long roadtrip. Just for grins, I told them to check the alignment. My stearing wheel has always been a touch off center. Three out of four wheels needed aligning. Car drives much better, steers easier. I guess the factory didn't align it right, or not at all.

10,000 miles is more than enough time to knock a car out of alignment.

???

Don't agree? That's ok, i guess. Not a big deal anyway, as long as the wheels aren't scuffed up, I can't imagine any Acura service department charging for an alignment at that mileage. I'ts a 12 month, 12,000 mile item (adjustment).

When you read through other threads, you'll see that A-TLvic882 gets a little triggerhappy with the icons. I'm not sure I understand it myself...and it gets annoying.

Did you have them fix it? I think it's a pretty easy fix - center the steering wheel on the alignment machine and re-perform the alignment.
