EDFC Help!

Hey im doing my install on my edfc and i am pretty much done but i still cant find anywhere to run the wires from the engine bay to the inside of my car. I already wired and tested everything and works greats, but the last thing i need to do is connect the front wires to the edfc mounted in my center console. Any help would be great. My last option is to drill a small hole through my firewall to run the wires to the inside.

Thanks

I thought I read that there was already a hole in the middle of the firewall that you'd be able to use. I believe I read it in a thread that talked about relocating the battery to the trunk.

There is a rubber grommet near the brake master cylinder where the rest of the engine harness passes through the firewall. Make a small slit in the rubber between the harness and edge of the grommet. Make sure its small but large enough to get each connector through individually. A little sealant after passing the motor harness wouldnt be a bad idea. Hope this helps.

If I remember correctly, it comes out above the dead pedal, pretty close to the height of where the steering column passes through the fire wall. You wont see it until you remove the black plastic trim under the dash. Ive installed 2 EDFC now using that same location. Its also the same grommet I use to pass my amplifier's power wire through.

You're in the right area. Just follow the engine compartment harness. That grommet should be in the same location regardless of the transmission. It just might be a little harder to get to since you have a 6mt. Or you can remove the lower plastic cover above the pedals to see the harness and grommet I am talking about.
