18" A-Spec's
-Great looking set of wheels
-Looks amazing with a drop; would still look good without a drop
-Not as heavy as the RDX wheels

19" RDX wheels
-Good looking set of wheels
-Looks good with a drop only (IMO). If your not lowered, it will make your TL look like a 4x4.
-Heavier than the A-Spec's.

I suggest the 18" A-Spec's. Not extremely heavy and would look good with/without a drop.

Ebony and black chrome are the same thing (I have them on my car). Are you mixing them up with Sparkle Silver?

Without a drop: Ebony (hyper silver) 18" aspecs the way to go. With suspension, don't ask me, RDX all the way!

Sorry! Meant to say chrome look! There are 3 types, 4 if you include the original gun metal ones! Ebony (black chrome), chrome look, and sparkle silver!

I really like the look, so far so good with the ride feel. I noticed some rubbing in the rear when I hit bumps during cornering, possibly by the tire width (245), but w an a-spec suspension you will have no problem with that. Not sure if you will ended up with some "4x4 look" with the a-spec minimum drop and the 19s", maybe someone has that drop/wheels combination for your reference.

Hey man, noticing that you will get the A-specs for the same price as the RDXs: go for the A-Specs if possible the gun-metal 18"x8.5", those are hard to find and very expensive most of the times. That was my first choice but the price diff in my case was too much. Good luck, and hurry up.

I would love the gun-metal 18" X 8.5" but I can't find them without paying an arm and a leg!! A guy local to me has the Chrome Look Aspecs for $500 or I can get Chrome Look RDX's for $550 shipped?? I just can't decide if I will like the Chrome Look on SSM!!

A-spec is better, specially if you can find gunmetal 18 x 8.5. If not hyper silver or sparkle silver will do the trick (these are 18 x 8)

True 'gunmetal' A-Spec wheels are extremely rare as they were only made for the 2004 model. 2005 and later, the only colors are ebony, chrome-look, and sparkle silver. The ebony wheels are my favorite regardless of car color, besides the gunmetal wheels of course.

Man, you should have spent the $$ looking for the original A-Specs. There are a lot of listings for them on E-bay and they look absolutely perfect on the SSM. I wouldn't really want to add weight to the car so the 19 RDX wheels, I considered for like 10 seconds. Anyhow, you already bought so Enjoy! Don't know if you are in LA county but I could've shown you the way.

I coudn't pass up the deal on the RDX wheels either....sparkle silver...should be on next week. 18 A-specs would have cost me 2x as much....used the money I saved to buy some really nice rubber....Michelin Pilot Super Sport....245/35R19
